The hardest part of caregiving, handled with care
For many families, helping with a shower, getting dressed, or the bathroom is the most tiring and most private part of caring for a parent or spouse. During a respite stay, that help is provided with patience and respect for your loved one’s modesty and independence.
Before the stay, tell us how these routines go at home: what they can manage alone, where they need a hand, and what makes them uncomfortable. The goal is for the routine to feel like theirs, just in a different place.
